Agents overview
An agent is a spender with its own wallet, its own policy and a rule for when to pay.
An AI agent on Nuntio is a spender like a person, with three differences: it has its own server wallet instead of a person's sign-in, it pays by itself when its rule says so, and the worker sends its payments instead of a browser.
An agent has:
- A wallet of its own, a Privy server wallet that only the worker can sign for.
- An onchain policy, the same kind a person has: allowance per period, cap per payment, payments per period, expiry and approved services.
- A rule for when to pay: on a date, once or on repeat, or when a balance you record falls below a line.
- A mode that says how much the worker may do for it: Observe, Confirm or Autonomous.
#Two locks
Every agent payment passes two separate checks:
- Privy's policy on the agent's wallet refuses to sign anything except a payment from its own account up to its cap, or a request on its own queue naming itself.
- The account contract checks the full policy: status, expiry, approved services, cap, allowance and number of payments.
The contract is the one that decides. See Agent wallets and limits.
#Modes
| Mode | At the due time |
|---|---|
| Observe | Records what it would pay. Signs nothing, and no money moves |
| Confirm | Prepares the payment and waits for you to press Confirm payment. A payment nobody confirms expires unpaid |
| Autonomous | Pays by itself, inside its onchain limits |
A new agent starts in Observe. The worker never does more than the mode you choose, and it runs each agent at the lower of the agent's mode and its own ceiling.

#What an agent can buy today
On Monad mainnet, nothing on its own yet. An agent's rule pays a merchant directly, and there are no outside merchants on mainnet yet. The things to buy there are AI compute and Monad data, sold by Nuntio's gateway one quoted run at a time, and agents cannot buy a run yet: an agent's policy can approve those services, and its page shows which, but only a person can buy a run today.
On Monad testnet, an agent pays the test services on its policy, on its rule.
#What agents have done
- On Monad mainnet, on 12 October 2026, an agent paid $0.10 of real AUSD to Corvane AI, a demo service run by Nuntio and since retired, by itself. It was inside a $0.10 cap, from a wallet holding no MON, and took 4.5 seconds from deciding to pay to a confirmed receipt. Evidence.
- On Monad testnet, on 3 October 2026, an agent called Ronnie paid $5 to Acme Inference API on a schedule, in Autonomous mode, with the gas sponsored. Evidence.
