Glossary
The words Nuntio uses, in one place.
Account. A NuntioAccount contract on Monad that holds AUSD and one policy per spender. Every team has one, and so does Nuntio's main account.
Agent. An AI spender with its own Privy server wallet, its own policy, a rule for when to pay and a mode. Run by the worker.
Allowance. The most a spender can pay in one period. It refills when the period rolls.
Approval. The owner's yes to one request. It allows one payment and moves no money by itself.
Approved services. The services one spender may pay. Each spender has their own list.
ApprovalQueue. The contract where refused payments are filed as requests and decided by the account's owner. Each queue is bound to one account.
AUSD. Agora's dollar stablecoin, 6 decimals. The only asset a Nuntio account holds.
Bound. A queue is bound once to one account that names it back. It can never be pointed elsewhere.
Cap per payment. The most one payment can be. Blank, or zero in the contract, means no cap.
Connection code. Your wallet's address, shown on your dashboard before anyone has added you. An owner can paste it to add you. It is not a key.
Demo service. On mainnet, one of the twelve services Nuntio ran that paid its own wallet, all retired by 15 October 2026. A receipt for an earlier payment to one names it "Name (retired demo)" and is tagged "Demo · run by Nuntio".
Expiry. When a policy stops working. The policy is dead at that moment, not after it.
Generation. A counter on each spender's policy that a revocation increases. It retires the spender's approved services and every request filed before the revocation.
Intent. A payment the worker or the app has prepared but not yet sent. The worker saves each intent before anything signs.
Key (or reference). A 32-byte value that identifies one payment. The contract records each key once per spender and refuses a second payment with it.
Main account. Nuntio's own account on each network, also called the flagship. Owned by the protocol admin key. During the beta, agents run here only.
Measured amount. What actually left the account: its balance before the transfer minus its balance after. Every receipt records this, never a number someone supplied.
Mode. How much the worker may do for an agent: Observe (record only), Confirm (wait for you) or Autonomous (pay by itself).
Nini. Nuntio's assistant. Turns a sentence into a draft you confirm. Holds no key and cannot name an address.
Owner. Whoever owner() names on an account. Sets every policy, decides every request, can pause and withdraw.
Payee. The address a service is paid at, as the registry gives it.
Payments per period. How many payments a spender can make in one period. Zero in the contract means no limit.
Period. How often an allowance refills: daily (1 day), weekly (7 days) or monthly (30 days). It rolls on schedule from the grant, not on the calendar.
Policy. A spender's allowance, period, cap, payments per period, expiry, approved services and status, stored in the account contract.
Request. A refused payment filed on the queue for the owner to decide. It lives for one day.
Sandbox. A shared test team on Monad testnet that anyone signed in can join, with a fixed small policy.
Sealed. An account that can pay. Accounts are born unable to pay and are sealed once, after any spent keys from an earlier account are imported.
Service. A merchant in the ServiceRegistry, with a slug, a name, a payee and a status.
Service id. keccak256(slug). How a payment names a service. A payment never names an address.
Settle. Pay an approved request, through paySettled. Anyone can call it, but the amount, spender and payee were fixed when the request was filed.
Spender. Any wallet with a policy on an account: a person, an agent, or the owner's own wallet.
Sponsored. Sent with the network fee paid by Nuntio through Privy. The contract still sees the spender's own wallet as the sender.
Status. Active, Paused or Revoked. Paused is reversible. Revoked is final for that policy.
Team. An account and queue created by NuntioTeamFactory and owned by the person who created it.
VERSION 2. The current version of NuntioAccount and ApprovalQueue, on both networks.
Worker. The process on Railway that runs agents, one per network.
